Jessica and Justin’s wedding day was full of heartfelt moments, strong family connections and so much genuine emotion through the day. From their ceremony at Resurrection Church to their reception celebration at the Diamond Jo Casino everything about the day felt meaningful and true to who they are.
They were married at Resurrection Church in Dubuque, surrounded by family and friends who clearly mean the world to them. A beautiful emotional moment happened when Jessica’s father played guitar and sang during the ceremony.
After the ceremony we traveled to the Dubuque Arboretum for family and couple photos. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed beautiful moments with the people that mattered most to the couple. The Arboretum always offer wonderful areas to photograph and to have a moment to relax. The Reception at the Diamond Jo Casino was full of every fun and emotion. One of my favorite moments of the night was capturing Jessica and Justin during their first dance. It was one of those moments where everything else faded away. Just the two of them sharing their special connection in the middle of the room.
Equally meaningful was when Jessica danced with her father and Justin danced with his mom. Both dances were incredibly emotional moments with Jessica in tears and Justin’’s mom with big belly laughs. These are the moments that make wedding phototography truly matter
