Ciara & Tommy’s wedding at The Barn at Brophy Creek in DeWitt, Iowa was all about bringing the fun while still soaking up the meaningful moments! It was the perfect all-in-one spot that had everything in one location, plus all the rustic charm!
The morning kicked off with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready to Shania Twain in their dressing area while the groom and groomsmen jammed out to AC/DC in their space. I love it when couples lean into their personalities like that!
Once everyone was ready, then it was portrait time! We handled all of their wedding portraits before the ceremony so they could jump straight into party mode afterwards. One of the sweetest photography moments was when Tommy had a first look with their daughter—cue the tears!
The ceremony was held outdoors in front of a serene pond, making for a beautiful spot to say “I do.” And then it was time to celebrate–and celebrate they did! They rented a mechanical bull for everyone to ride (yes, including the bride and groom), which was such a unique way to get guests laughing and cheering. They also had a live band that got everyone on the dance floor. Tommy even grabbed the mic to sing a song for Ciara—how awesome is that!
They wrapped up the night with a fire pit, cigars, and an epic champagne spray with Ciara and Tommy. It was the perfect ending to a day of fun, family, and making memories that feel like them.
